Brand Vaughan partnered up with NOA in the construction of their new shelter.  BV was able to contribute through the USLBM Foundation for Giving as well as through the donation of the Framing Package for the shelter.

In 1986, a group of concerned citizens established the 24/7 crisis line for victims of domestic violence.  Their concerted efforts later lead to the opening of the emergency shelter in 1992. NOA is dedicated to providing shelter, safety and support services to victims of domestic violence and their children. The program also offers a 24-hour crisis line, case management, financial assistance, life skills groups, parenting classes, individual counseling and support groups, legal advocacy, and educational scholarships to help victims and their children achieve safety and stability.

NOA’s mission states that “NOA provides safe haven and support services to victims of domestic violence.  Through educational programs, NOA works to foster attitudes in the community that violence is not acceptable.”
