Atlanta Mission: 1/100

Atlanta Mission: 1/100

In February of 2017, we kicked off our 100 Families in 100 Years initiative with Atlanta Mission. Our first official initiative involved us sponsoring an individual to go through their “transformation model” that takes one person facing homelessness through a program to get them the help they need to get back on their feet in a holistic approach. Part of the sponsorship led us to run a 5k that the Atlanta Mission puts on that they call “Run in the Cold For Those Who Sleep in the Cold”. About 20 of us headed down there and were so blessed by the time we got to spend with someone who had completed the transformation model and was now living on their own with a great job at Chick Fil A. We ran the 5k and celebrated afterwards with our team mates and the great people at the Atlanta Mission.
